Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
From nursery for our smallest children to our Jr. and Sr. High Youth Ministry, we seek to provide space for our covenant children to grow in Christ while also providing opportunities for children in our greater community to also be introduced to the Lord. All of our children and youth ministries intentionally seek to present the Gospel to the lost and feed the found with that same Gospel.
Nursery - Our nursery offers a safe and loving environment for babies and toddlers through age 3 during our weekly worship service.
Sunday School - Sunday School classes are provided for children, beginning at age 2, or as the children are able and willing to sit in a class with a teacher. A Bible story follows the time of singing. There are classes for children through high school. Sunday School is from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Children's Church - We welcome children to be part of our worship service; however, we offer Children's Church during the sermon time as well (ages 3-7). We invite you to join your child as we pray for them and/or accompany them downstairs to Children’s Church, if desired.
VBS - Our Vacation Bible School is an especially fruitful outreach as several churched and unchurched children age 4 to 6th grade hear the living giving truths of the Gospel throughout the week. VBS typically runs the first part of June.
Movie In The Park - Our “Movie in the Park” outreach ministry seeks to open doors for families with young children to be introduced to our church. Three times a year we host our community with a night of family-friendly movie viewing and snacks.
Would you please pray for the ongoing intentional efforts to share the Gospel with our own children and with visiting families and participants in our various children’s and youth ministries? Pray also for encouragement and clarity of calling for the various volunteers and future volunteers who will pour truth into the hungry hearts of our children. Finally, pray for the leadership’s ongoing efforts to improve and grow these valuable ministries as we seek to utilize the gifts and abilities of our congregation to the glory of God and toward the salvation of lost children throughout our community.
