Our July Emphasis will be the ministry of Mark and Deb Borland, Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Mark and Deb have been serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators for 31 years and have enjoyed the variety of roles that God has given them...starting in Colombia, South America and now in Orlando, FL. Their roles at the Mobilization Center for Wycliffe are multi-faceted.  Mark serves as a Partnership Development Coach and Trainer and is also part of the team that Deb leads as Senior Director.  That team is Development-Orientation-Training focusing on:  Orientation (for new members and paid staff), Staff Development, Leadership Development, Spiritual Development, Career Guidance, Connection programs, Missionary Kid Programs, Family Services and Training Development.

To give you a better idea of the impact they have had, here are a few statistics:
-Over the past 7-1/2 years they helped to launch 895 new missionaries and their kids into service with Wycliffe.
-This past year they welcomed 160 missionaries and their 106 kids on furlough from their overseas assignments through The Wycliffe Connection.
-During that same time frame, they welcomed 60 US-based missionaries and 8 of their kids through the Stateside Connection.

The purposes of these two Connection programs is to Care for, Celebrate, and Connect these precious missionaries, encouraging them to continue on in the faithful service they have already exhibited.
